M.A.D.

If you're a big fan of missile defense games like Missile Command and Atlantis, you may enjoy M.A.D.

Waves of enemies fly in, then drop down one at a time, crashing into your pixel skyscraper thingies. You can aim in many directions, which is helpful.

In two player mode, one player controls the crosshairs and bombs the city, while the other defends. If you're an Atari nerd--and your friend is as well--you may have a really good time with this. I'm not sure if more casual Atari players would enjoy it quite as much, though.

Though M.A.D. isn't bad, I find it forgettable. I lost interest after a couple rounds. I'm not a big fan of missile defense games, however, so if you are, you may enjoy M.A.D. more.

Final M.A.D. review:

I recommend M.A.D. for Atari nerds and collectors.
